Boing! Boing! Boing! Captain Lionel bounced up and down on his wonderful anti-gravity trampoline. His dark, curly hair flopped up, and then it flopped down, exactly in time with his bouncing. Whoosh! He did a very silly somersault right in the middle of his zero-gravity living room.
Captain Lionel lived in a cozy little spaceship that looked exactly like a giant, shiny silver teapot. He was a brave, kind, and very bouncy space explorer, and he loved his job very much. His silver teapot spaceship was the most comfortable ship in the entire galaxy. It had soft, fuzzy blue seats that felt like hugging a giant teddy bear. It had hundreds of twinkling buttons that lit up in bright red, green, purple, and gold. In the back, there was a very cozy bedroom with a perfectly round bed, fluffy pillows, and a thick blanket covered in pictures of friendly smiling aliens. Lionel loved his magnificent ship. It was his home, and it made him feel very safe and very happy every single day.
Every morning, Captain Lionel followed the exact same comforting daily routine. He liked his routine because knowing what happens next made his tummy feel calm and relaxed. First, he would wake up as his gentle alarm clock played a soft, chiming melody. Ding, ding, dong. He would stretch his arms as wide as they could go, reaching out toward the walls. He would wiggle his ten toes, feeling the cool metal floor beneath his feet. Then, he would float down the little hallway toward the sparkling clean space-bathroom. In the bathroom, Lionel caught a floating bubble of perfectly clear water. Scrub, scrub, scrub went his green toothbrush against his teeth.
Next, it was time for his favorite part of the morning: breakfast! Lionel floated into his tiny kitchen.
