We are Janko & Sara, parents of three wonderful kids.

Family is everything to us. From the very beginning, we knew we wanted to create a home filled with warmth, laughter, and stories. Our children have always been drawn to books and reading — there's something magical about watching their eyes light up when a story transports them to another world.

Like many modern parents, we found ourselves searching for alternatives to screen time. We wanted something that could calm our kids at bedtime, help them process big feelings, and spark their imagination — all without the blue light and overstimulation that comes with videos and games.

During this search, we dove deep into research about childhood development. We discovered the incredible work of Jorge Bucay, the Argentine therapist and storyteller, whose therapeutic tales showed us just how powerful stories can be.

Stories don't just entertain — they help children understand themselves, work through fears, and build emotional resilience.

That's when the idea for Booklly was born. Janko, with his background in technology, began building a tool that could generate personalized stories for our own children. Stories where they were the heroes. Stories that addressed the specific challenges they were facing — whether it was a fear of the dark, a new sibling, or simply winding down after a busy day.

But we didn't want just any AI-generated content. Safety was paramount. Every story needed to be age-appropriate, positive, and carefully crafted. We spent over a year testing, researching, and refining. We consulted with child development experts. We tested stories with our own kids — and they became our toughest (and most honest!) critics.

Today, Booklly is the tool we always wished we had. It creates magical, personalized audio stories that make bedtime something to look forward to. Stories that teach, comfort, and inspire. Stories that give parents a moment of peace, knowing their children are engaged with something truly good for them.
