Henry sat in his window seat, looking up at the glowing moon. It was his favorite thing to do before bedtime.
"Good night, bright moon," he whispered softly.
High above, on the silver moon, a gentle rabbit was hard at work. This was the Moon Rabbit, and every single night, he pounded rice into the softest, dreamiest cakes. Each cake smelled like vanilla and starlight.
The Moon Rabbit watched children everywhere. When he saw someone being kind, he smiled his warm bunny smile.
That very day, Henry had shared his crayons with a new friend at school. He held the door open for his teacher, and he helped his little sister find her lost teddy bear.
