Leo was a small lion cub with golden fur and a very big dream. He wanted to be a great king, just like his father. One warm, golden afternoon, they sat together on large flat rocks overlooking the grassy plains. The sun was setting, painting the sky in beautiful shades of orange.
Leo tapped his sharp claw on the ground. He loved drawing pictures in the soft dirt. He drew a big circle for the sun and jagged lines for the mountains.
"Dad," Leo asked, looking up at the King’s majestic mane. "To be a king, do I have to have the loudest roar? Do I have to scare everyone so they listen to me?"
Leo stood up tall and took a giant breath.
