Mindy is a little girl. She sits on a soft rug. Her baby brother is there too. He wiggles on a blanket.
Mama sits close. Mama smiles. "Say, 'hi.'"
Mindy waves her hand. "Hi!" Mindy smiles big.
Mindy looks at Brother. She pats the blanket. "Hi, baby."
Brother kicks his feet. He makes a happy sound.
Mindy sees a round ball. She rolls the ball. *Bump.* It touches Brother's toes.
Brother is surprised. "Waa!" He cries.
Mindy looks at Mama. Mama says, "Gentle. Kind hands."
Mindy wants to help. She crawls close. Slow. Soft.
She touches his tummy.
